Amazing specimen of Quartz var. Amethyst from a new find in this less common Bulgarian locality - Chala Mine, Spachievo ore field, Bulgaria. It displays very elegant and sculptural Amethyst crystals growing in a three dimensional cluster. The crystals are chunky and big up to 111mm. The faces are from matt lustrous to more frosty. The coloration varies from purple to colorless - more intense at the lower part. The main crystal is well shaped with sharp pyramidal tip till the other crystal is not complete. At the base part the crystals have irregular multiple terminations. Complete all over. In good condition – some contacts and small damages.
