Sculptural specimen of Aegirine with Quartz var. Smoky. Displays one dominant Aegirine crystal with many doubly terminated Quartzes. Aegirines are prismatic elongated crystals. They have black color and superb luster. Quartzes are black and transparent with good luster and complete all over. Some white Feldspar adds a nice contrast. Outstanding arrangement from many angles - very 3 dimensional specimen. Aegirine from Mount Malosa is considered among the best and the addition of nice Smoky Quartz makes this one a choice specimen.
