Marvelous and unusually colored crystal of glassy clear Grossular Garnet. It is transparent, gem quality with superb luster. Normally these Garnets are orange but this one has uncommon intense red-brown color. Rhombic dodecahedron crystal habit with rhomboid shaped faces - classic for this locality.
