Very elegant Vesuvianite piece with vertically standing 22mm crystal. Vesuvianites are translucent with some gemmy areas and have pleasing apple-green color. They are very well shaped and glassy lustrous. Displays nicely on 360 degree.  For references see the last issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In very good condition – some contacts at the base. On acrylic base.
