First grade quality Garnet var. Spessartine. On white Albite grow many Spessartine crystals. The white background underlines them very well. Spessartines have perfect trapezohedral shape, up to 6mm big and are well formed and isolated. They are sharp, highly lustrous, with tremendous deep wine red color. The crystals are vitreous and gem. Some small crystals of an unidentified mineral are seen on the side. In very good condition – some small nicks and damages.
