Very rare specimen of dark grass green Garnet var. Grossular with Heazlewoodite. Grossular crystals are with super deep green color - result of Chromium. Rhombic dodecahedral, sharp crystallization, glassy luster and irresistible color. The crystals are gem up to 1mm in size. Heazlewoodite form up to 2mm thin metallic plates. The specimen displays beautifully all over 360 degree. This is of truly superior quality – ultimate colorfulness. For references see the issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4.  In excellent condition - some small contacts. On acrylic base.
