Gorgeous Vesuvianite specimen with intergrown crystals sticking out all over. The perfectly terminated crystals are translucent to transparent and gem. They have marvelous color variation from dark purple at the base to apple green and very pleasing intense orange-honey. The caps are very gem and glassy. The luster, the colors and the quality are exceptional. That is among the best and more intense colors that the mine produced. For references see the issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In excellent condition – some contact areas at the outside edges. On acrylic base.
Absolutely irresistible!
