First grade quality Garnet var. Spessartine. On white Albite grow many Spessartine crystals. The white background underlines them very well. Spessartines have perfect trapezohedral shape, up to 5mm and are well formed and isolated. They are sharp, highly lustrous, with tremendous deep wine red color. The crystals are vitreous and gem. In very good condition – some very small nicks and one crystal damaged at the outside edge.
