Marvelous big crystal of gem Grossular Garnet. It is 2,4cm, transparent, gem quality with superb luster and rich honey-orange color. Rhombohedral crystal habit with rhomboid shape faces - classic for this locality. On the faces is seen natural etching. At the base some Diopside needles penetrate inside the Garnet. Rare now, high quality piece from this inactive mine. In good condition – contacts at the outside edges (seen on the photos). On acrylic base.
