A beautiful flower of polylithionite rosettes with schizolite from this great locality - Mont Saint-Hilaire, Quebec, Canada. The polylithionite forms a sculptural cluster of crystal plates growing on 90 degree. They have a very strong pearly luster. The rosettes are shiny and light reflective. Salmon-pink schizolite forms the stem. Schizolite is an intermediate member of the pectolite-serandite series. It displays aesthetically all over 360 degree. For references see the 1990 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 21, # 4. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.
Exquisite!
