A gorgeous and very rare specimen of porcelain white grossular garnet crystals associated with apple-green diopside from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The grossular crystals up to 3mm have very pure white color. They are completely opaque and porcelain, with strong luster, and razor sharp rhombic decahedral habit. Small green diopside crystals grow above. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In very good condition – some small nicks and contacts. On acrylic base.

Fabulous!
