An offbeat specimen of garnet var. andradite crystals from Serifos Island, Greece. This piece features rhombic dodecahedral andradite crystals up to 12mm in size. The crystals exhibit a warm brownish-yellow color at their centers, beautifully accented by dark brown edges that sharply outline each crystal, creating a dramatic and eye-catching contrast. The andradites are very well crystallized, with sharp edges and a good luster. They grow on a colorless quartz crystals base. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.
