A gorgeous small crystal of gem corundum var. sapphire from Ratnapura, Sri Lanka. It is 11mm, 1.5 carats complete all over 360 degree with an irregular hexagonal shape.  The sapphire is transparent and gem with a rich blue color. It is lustrous, glassy and light reflective. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.
