A superb and rare specimen of pyrite crystals from this uncommon locality - Shoal Point, Newfoundland, Canada. These Canadian pyrites are very distinctive. They are found in shale. The crystals are matt lustrous and shiny cubes with brassy yellow color. The base is rounded probably by water. It displays attractively all over 360 degree. It is a floater. In excellent condition – one small natural crack. On acrylic base.
Unique pyrite!
