A superb specimen of gem anglesite crystals from the famous Touissit, Morocco. It comes from the collection of Fernand Weyts – no label. The mine produced some of the best anglesite in the world and this is a choice piece. It displays sharp crystals measuring to 12mm in length. They are transparent, gem and glassy lustrous. The color is a light yellow. The faces are shiny and light reflective with superb striations. Some dark galena forms the base. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 6. Some damages. On acrylic base.
Fine anglesite!
