A nice specimen of babingtonite crystals with calcite and prehnite from Mt. Tom Quarry, Massachusetts, USA. It comes from the collection of Stephen J. Gerome, MA, USA, with a label. Mined 2002. The babingtonite crystals are well shaped with a black color. Colorless calcite crystal with yellow hue grow above. They are sharp, lustrous and very well formed. Some greenish prehnite is seen too.  In very good condition – some outside edge contacts. On acrylic base.
