A pleasing example of tender cream-brown rhodochrosite crystals from this famous locality - Mont Saint-Hilaire, Quebec, Canada. It displays sharp rhombohedral rhodochrosite crystals with lustrous faces. Some black aegirine needles are seen too. It displays attractively on both sides. For references see the 1990 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 21, # 4. In good condition – aegirine crystals not complete. On acrylic base.
Marvelous!
