A marvelous specimen of slightly gemmy garnet var. demantoid crystals from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. On white asbestos sit demantoid crystals to 1.5 mm with a rhombic dodecahedral habit. The crystals are matt lustrous. The color is a pleasing green and on the white matrix the demantoid contrast strongly. In good condition – some contacts. On acrylic base.
