A beautiful specimen of azurite with malachite pseudomorph growing on a single quartz crystal from Mecissi, Morocco. The transparent quartz crystal is partially covered by lenticular azurite forming nice rosette aggregates with a dark royal blue color. Some azurite zones are pseudomorphed by green malachite. This gives a superb contrast. The quartz crystal is razor sharp and well formed. It is doubly terminated. It displays from all sides. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.
