A cool specimen of dioptase crystals sprinkled over white calcite crystals from this famous locality – Tsumeb Mine, Namibia. It comes from the collections of Willy Israel and Fernand Weyts - no labels. The dioptase crystals are small, lustrous and sparkling, with an intense emerald-green color. They sit very well isolated and the white rhombohedral calcite crystals give a strong contrast. On the back side are seen only calcite rhombs. In very good condition – some small nicks. On acrylic base.
Fantastic!
