A killer specimen of richly purple colored and gemmy adamite var. manganoan adamite from the famous Ojuela Mine, Mexico. The adamite crystals are with a sharp elongated orthorhombic blade shape. They are from lighter purple to rich purple at the caps. The faces have a strong luster and nice gemminess. A beautiful addition is one doubly terminated, colorless and transparent calcite crystal, sitting at the top. In very good condition – some small contacts at the lower part. On acrylic base.
