A fine specimen of gemmy kammererite crystals with a magnificent magenta color from Kop Daglari, Turkey. Kammererite is a rare chrome-rich variety of clinochlore. It displays sharp crystals to 9mm which is a very good size. The main crystal dominates the specimen and it forms an aesthetic focal point. It is twinned with a waxy luster. The color is very deep, saturated and simply amazing. The quality is superb – a strong gemminess is revealed when backlit. The kammererite from Turkey is among the best ever found. In excellent condition - some small nicks. On acrylic base.
