An exceptional specimen of volborthite crystals on a matrix from the famous Milpillas Mine, Mexico. Volborthite is a rare copper mineral and these are considered the best examples for the species. It displays vibrant dark olive-green volborthite crystals forming radial rosettes to 12mm. They are well shaped and lustrous with a sparkling appearance.
