A gorgeous and fine specimen of bastnasite-(Ce) from Trimouns Talc Mine, Occitanie, France. Some of the finest crystals of the species have been found in this locality. It displays a rosette formed by parallel, flattened, tabular hexagonal crystals. It has an excellent quality with lustrous faces, which strongly reflects the light. They have sharp shape. The crystals are gemmy with an intense and saturated orange-brown color. It shows all over. In very good condition - some side contacts. On acrylic base.
