Fascinating vesuvianite crystals with raspberry caps from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The sharp flat terminated crystals are gem. They have a light purple hue to saturated and rich raspberry caps. The luster is very strong and the crystals are transparent and glassy. Some crystals are doubly terminated. Complete all over. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.
