A pleasing example of tender cream-pink rhodochrosite crystal from this famous locality - Mont Saint-Hilaire, Quebec, Canada. It displays a sharp rhombohedral rhodochrosite crystal with sparkling faces. Some black aegirine crystals are seen too. It displays attractively all over 360 degree. For references see the 1990 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 21, # 4. In very good condition – smaller aegirine crystals are not complete. On acrylic base.
Marvelous!
