An exceptional specimen of blood-red gem realgar crystals decorated with stibnite from Baia Sprie mine, Baia Sprie, Romania. The realgar crystals have very rich blood-red color – saturated and striking. The sharp crystals to 7mm are prismatic and glassy lustrous with marvelous striations. Some are doubly terminated. The most amazing aspect is the gemminess of the crystals. Lustrous and shiny, metallic stibnite needles enrich the display. Some damages. On acrylic base.
