A gorgeous specimen of rutile var. sagenite (of saussure) plate decorated with rutile needle crystals from the famous Cavradi gorge, Switzerland. Sagenite variety presents crystals crossing at the same angles, so they form a mesh-like network. They form a dense, thin plate with a straw color. Some rutile needle crystals extend over, forming an attractive trident. In very good condition – some small damages. On acrylic base.
