A wonderful specimen of high quality dioptase crystal of 21mm from Mindouli, Congo - Brazzaville. It is strongly lustrous with a gorgeous dark emerald-green color and very sharp, well terminated crystal. The quality is superb - the crystal is gemmy at the tip with marvelous neon-green nuances. It looks better in person. Some micro nicks and back side contacts. On acrylic base.
