A cool specimen of glassy wardite crystals with minor lazulite inclusions from Rapid Creek - the famous phosphate deposits of Yukon, Canada. The wardite crystals are sharp, glassy lustrous, very well formed with a sharp octahedral habit. They are almost colorless and gemmy. Small lazulite crystals are seen inside. For references see the 1992 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 23, # 4. In very good condition – some natural imperfections. On acrylic base.
Splendid!
