A mesmerizing specimen of blood red, flattened, tabular, hexagonal crystals of vanadinite beautifully growing on a white baryte base from the famous Mibladen Mining District, Morocco. The vanadinite crystals have an intense red color and a strong, glassy luster. The crystals are sharp and well shaped. The piece is very fresh and sparkling. It displays aesthetically all over 360 degree. For references see May - June 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record - Vol. 44, No. 3. In very good condition – some small damages. On acrylic base.
Striking beauty!
