An amazing crystal of gemmy garnet var. demantoid from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The demantoid is11mm – quite big for this type from the mine. Usually these are much smaller. It has a rhombic dodecahedral habit and rounded edges. The crystals are lustrous and gemmy. The color is a rich apple-green. It is complete all over. In very good condition – some natural imperfections. On acrylic base.
