A cool specimen of tourmaline var. elbaite crystal decorated with smaller, second generation crystals at the cap from Shigar Valley, Pakistan. The main elbaite crystal has a marvelous color variation from dark green in the lower part, to olive-green and apple-green at the top, to colorless at the cap – very pastel and pleasing color variation. The crystal is very well terminated, transparent and gem with a high luster and superb surface striations. Above grow second generation crystals with blue color.  It has an attractive display from all sides. In very good condition – some small nicks and contacts. On acrylic base.
