An exceptional specimen of gemmy dioptase crystals decorated with water clear calcite crystals from this famous and classic locality – Tsumeb Mine, Namibia. The dioptase crystals are brilliantly lustrous and strongly light reflective, with an intense emerald-green color. They are gemmy with marvelous neon green nuances. Completely transparent, clear and colorless rhombohedral calcite crystals grow above. They are razor sharp and strongly lustrous. The contrast is very strong. Better in person. In excellent condition – some minor nicks.
