A wonderful specimen of tourmaline var. schorl crystal decorated with striking fluorescent opal var. hyalite from the famous Erongo Mountain, Namibia. It displays a black and lustrous schorl crystal. It is sharp and well formed. Hyalite has a botryoidal habit and it is well formed. It is lustrous and transparent, with a yellow-green color. The real beauty in this specimen is the very intense and saturated fluorescents. Under UV light the hyalite is crazy neon-green. The contrast is very strong. It displays attractively all over 360 degree. In very good condition – Some minor nicks and base part contact. On acrylic base.
