A beautiful specimen of orange colored grossular garnet crystals to 6mm from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. They are transparent, gem quality with a superb luster. The crystals are well isolated and they contrasts strongly on the white albite covered base. The crystals have a trapezohedral habit with sharp crystallization. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In very good condition – some micro nicks and outside edge contacts. On acrylic base.

Fascinating!
