An offbeat specimen of richly brown colored quartz druse decorated with malachite from Kolwezi, Katanga Copper Crescent, Congo - Kinshasa. The quartz crystals are sharp, strongly lustrous and glassy. They are brown colored due to inclusions. Above grows green malachite with a botryoidal habit. The malachite spheres are well isolated and they add a marvelous contrast. In good condition – some small nicks.
