A beautiful specimen of azurite growing over water clear quartz crystals from Mecissi, Morocco. The sharp quartz crystal is transparent, well shaped, with cool striations. The lenticular azurite forms nice rosette aggregates with a dark royal blue color. The contrast is strong. It displays attractively from all sides. In very good condition – some contacts at the base of the quartz. On acrylic base.
