A nice crystal of zunyite from Qalat-e Payeen (Qalat-e Bala) salt dome, Bandar Abbas, Iran. Zunyite is a rare mineral. The quality is outstanding and these are among the best zunyite crystals ever found. It displays complete all over tetrahedral zunyite crystal of 12mm. It is sharp with a pleasing brick-red color and pretty beveled corners. The most amazing aspect is the geometrical perfection. Small sparkling black hematite crystals are seen all over. In excellent condition. With acrylic base – not glued.
