A sculptural specimen displaying smoky quartz crystals standing attractively over the microcline base and decorated with gem spessartine garnets from Tongbei, Fujian Province, China. The spessartine crystals to 3mm have a rich orange color. They have a sharp habit and glassy luster. The quartz crystals are sharp, lustrous, transparent and clear with a smoky-black color. The microcline crystals are well shaped and they give a strong contrast. In very good condition – some small nick at the tip on the bigger quartz.
