A nice specimen of gem hessonite garnets decorated with diopside crystals from Bellecombe, Aosta Valley, Italy. The hessonite crystals are gem with red-brown color up to 5mm. They have sharp crystallization with strong luster and nicely reflect the light. Some gemmy diopside crystals grows atop. In very good condition – some outside edge contacts. On acrylic base.
