A fine specimen of gem augelite crystals to 6mm from the famous phosphate deposit of Yukon. The augelite is a rare mineral and some of the finest come from this locality. The crystals are sharp, highly lustrous, very well formed with rhombohedral habit and light mint-green color. They have a good transparency and gemminess. The siderite crystals are lustrous and gemmy with honey-brown color. It displays aesthetically on both sides. For references see the 1992 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 23, # 4.
