A marvelous jewel of gem grossular garnet crystal from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The grossular is extremely transparent, gem quality with a superb luster and pleasing orange color. It is 8mm big with a sharp rhombic dodecahedral habit. It displays beautifully all over 360 degree. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In very good condition – some minor nicks. On acrylic base.

Fascinating!
