A mesmerizing specimen of dioptase crystals with mottramite from the famous Milpillas Mine, Sonora, Mexico. Dioptase is rare at the mine. The crystals are elongated, gemmy and lustrous. They have a gorgeous and rich sea-blue-green color. The color is better in person. Dark mottramite is seen too. For references see the 2021 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 52, # 5.
