A pleasing example of tender cream-pink rhodochrosite crystals on the top of an aegirine blade from this famous locality - Mont Saint-Hilaire, Quebec, Canada. It displays rhombohedral rhodochrosite crystals. Aegirine crystal is black with good luster. It is very well shaped. Colorless albite is seen too. It has an attractive display all over 360 degree. For references see the 1990 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 21, # 4. In very good condition – some small contacts. On acrylic base.
Marvelous!
