A superb specimen of weloganite crystals from the locality which produced by far the best specimens for the species in the world - Francon quarry, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The crystals have a sharp bottle shape - irregular barrel hexagons with flat tips. They have a good luster, some slight gemminess, growth striations and white to yellow color. Cute small smoky quartz crystals grow above and enrich the posture. Some quartzes are doubly terminated. It displays attractively all over 360 degree. The mine is closed since decades.
