A beautiful rhodochrosite specimen from the famous Uchucchacua mine, Peru which has produced some of the finest rhodochrosites. It comes from the collection of Ron House, with a label. It displays gemmy rhodochrosite crystals to 15mm with an intense red color and scalenhedron shape. They are sharp and well terminated. The faces are matt lustrous. In very good condition – some smaller rim crystals contacts. On acrylic base.
