A cool specimen of glassy wardite crystal with minor lazulite from Rapid Creek - the famous phosphate deposits of Yukon, Canada. The wardite crystal is sharp, glassy lustrous, very well formed with a sharp octahedral habit. It is almost colorless. The tip is gemmy. Small lazulite crystals are seen at the base part. It displays from all sides. For references see the 1992 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 23, # 4. In very good condition – one small nick at the tip. On acrylic base.
Splendid!
