A top piece of bedazzling and impressive mirror lustrous spinel law twin galena decorated with marvelous calcite crystals from Krushev dol mine, Madan ore field, Bulgaria. The mines in Madan produce some of the finest galena in the world and this is a killer specimen. It displays sharp, well formed superb flat faces galena twins with an excellent brilliance and light reflection. The spinel twins are very thin stepped plates, staggered one after another with like tooled tips. Lustrous calcite crystals grow at the top forming aesthetic diadem. They have colored in rusty-orange rims, which give a nice colorfulness. Calcite is fluorescent in a bright pink color. In excellent condition – some minor nicks.
