Diamonds like jewel of rare colorless garnet var. grossular crystals to 5mm over diopside needles from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The colorless garnets are among the rarest. The grossular crystals are gem, completely transparent and clear like water. They have rhombic dodecahedral sharp crystallization and glassy luster. The garnets are strongly fluorescent in a bright, rich pink. It displays beautifully all over 360 degree. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4.
